Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) is a Scheme to provide income support to all landholding farmers in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various agricultural inputs and allied activities as well as domestic needs.
Under this initiative, the Central Government of India gives farmers’ families up to ₹6,000 per year as minimum income support. (Definition of the family for the Scheme is husband, wife and minor children.)
